the snap-fastener

when designing the detachable sole, we experimented with a range of different fastenings, from magnets to friction. in the end, we decided on something simple, mechanical and not over-complicated to complement the slipper design.

using the popper...

to keep your fastening secure, always slip the front end of the upper fully into the sole first before clipping the fastening at the heel, and make sure your foot is firmly within the slipper.

keep an eye out for...

like any fastening on shoes, shoelaces for instance, depending on how they are worn, the press-stud may experience tension and loosen. if you stand down hard on the back of the slipper, be careful as this can create sufficient leverage to un-pop the fastening.

keeping the click...

if you find your popper coming loose regularly, it may be that the tiny wings of the metal fastener have bent slightly out of place. whilst this is rare, it can happen depending on the type of wear, pressure and a range of factors, however, fear not, this can be easily tweaked as shown below. when there are no gaps between the wings, the reassuring click of the fastener will be restored, and all will be well in the world.
